One-Punch Man Season 3 Is Set to Continue (In 2027)

Without a doubt the most shocking announcement, the much-discussed controversial season that was season 3 of One-Punch Man proved insufficient to halt the series' continuation. Season 3 will come back with a second cour in 2027—such a distant date they could have called it season 4. Even more shocking, animation studio J.C. Staff will remain in charge. Thankfully this time, director Shinpei Nagai is on board to direct from the start, which could be taken as a positive development. But, the main art for the continuation is the same image the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou facing different directions. This suggests that, at this point, they are probably trolling the fans.

The Ruri Dragon Series Is Set to Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime From Kyoto Animation

Kyoto Animation has established a name for being an elite animation studio, making its mark not just for the exceptional quality of its productions but for the fair treatment of its employees—a sadly unusual standard in the industry. Curiously, until now, it had not produced an anime adapted from a manga from Shonen Jump, perhaps the most famous magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will end that streak, and what a excellent choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo gained massive popularity when it launched in 2022 after just a few chapters, but then went into a extended pause due to the mangaka's health issues. When it came back with a reduced workload, the series proved it still retained the fans' appreciation and enthusiasm, and now the community is ecstatic about the impending KyoAni adaptation.
