Trump Increases Tariffs on Canada's Imports After Ronald Reagan Commercial

President Donald Trump has stated he is raising import taxes on items imported from Canadian sources after the region of Ontario aired an anti-import tax ad including late President Reagan.

In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Donald Trump labeled the commercial a "misrepresentation" and criticized Canada's authorities for not pulling it before the MLB finals.

"Because of their significant distortion of the facts, and aggressive move, I am hiking the duty on Canadian goods by 10% on top of what they are paying now," he wrote.
